Hongo brings the classic lines of indoor lighting outdoors. A fabric shade and a solar panels are encased in a protective glass that keeps internal components safe from the elements. In 2009 Paulina Malo and I created TRUEQUE CREATIVO (Creative Barter), an entrepreneurial, sustainable and SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE collective inspired by the cultural and professional diversity of its members.

Trueque Creativo’s mission is to SHOW DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES, PROMOTE LEADERSHIP + FORGE CITIZENS that are at the same time global players and committed members of their local communities.

Trueque Creativo exhibited art, held workshops and lectures in conjunction with the Biennial in Cuenca, Ecuador, in October 2009.
